Our Charger Whole Upholstery Hides are a full grain pull up leather, finished with a soft wax. This means that when the leather is stretched or tensioned, the base colour of the skin “pulls up” resulting in a distressed / antique effect. Ideal if you’re looking to give your furniture and leather goods that sought after vintage look.

Charger is flame proofed to the PK contract standard Crib5, making it suitable for use in contract applications.

Thickness 0.9/1.0 mm. Charger is available in 23 colours.

To create the striking finish of this leather, a metallic foil is put on to full grain cow sides. The foil adheres to the leather, creating a shiny, mirror like finish whilst also allowing the natural surface grain to show through. A protective lacquer coating is then applied to ensure a robust and durable finish.

This leather is suitable for a wide range of applications including: Garments, Clothing & Fashion Trim, Shoes, Boots, Sandals, Bracelets, Purses and Hand-Bags.

Apache is a very soft, dry drummed, natural grained cow side 1.8/2.0mm leather. Originally, this article was made for the saddlery and shoe trades in black and dark brown.

However, due to popular demand the colour range has been expanded over time, meaning the leather is now suitable for a wider range of applications including: holdalls/grips, handbags, aprons and upholstery.

Our Dancer Sides are a chrome tanned, dyed through leather. These sides have been printed with a light crushed grain. This 0.9/1.1mm leather is also referred to as “Gusset Hide”, the supple nature of this article makes it perfect for use as a gusset in small leather goods, such as sporrans. We have Dancer available from stock in Black & Dark Brown, available to order online now. 

Outback is a beautiful full grain natural aniline whole hide, with a lovely waxy drag feel. This leather is ideal for making garments and leather clothing including jackets, garment trimming including collars & elbow patches. Softy bags, holdalls, rucksacks, general leather goods and soft furnishings. These hides measure on average 40-50 SQFT.  We stock 0.6/0.7 mm Outback in the following 6 colours: Rosso, Indigo, Dark Brown, Orange, Black & Verde. 

Building on the success of our hair on Cow Hides, we are now stocking hair on Calf hides. These smaller hides, measuring approximately 90cm x 90cm and are perfect for use as calf skin rugs or wall hangings – they would make an ideal gift!
